A HIDEAWAY Screen is an architecturally designed privacy panel. Laser cut and fabricated from .100” thick high grade powder-coated aluminum sheets. HIDEAWAY Screens were originally designed out of the need for privacy in our founder’s backyard, however, our screens have proven to be extremely functional as well as practical. Our screens can also act as a wind barrier or fence, guardrail, provide shade, enclose your barbeque or other pool or AC equipment, define a space, or act an interior/exterior design feature.

Our HIDEAWAY Screens are 36” Wide x 68” Tall, and weigh approximately 19 lbs. Our posts are 3" x 3" x 73" Tall Our mounting brackets are 1" x 1" L x 68" Long. When installed at our typical configuration, the screens will finish at 72” above ground surface. There is an allowance of a 4” gap at the bottom of the screens when installed to allow for sweeping or shoveling below the screen.

Our standard base colours in stock are our black and white. We understand these may need to be more creative for you. Therefore, we can also offer some premium colours to give variation to your project. These are gold, silver, cappuccino, etc. Custom colours will incur an additional 20% surcharge.

Great Question, No. Hence why we designed our products with powder-coated aluminum. It will not rust, making it the ideal material for outdoor use. (and also inherently for indoor use as well!) In addition, each screen is professionally powder coated with UV-resistant paint ensuring the products do not fade and are more resistant to chipping or scratching.

Unfortunately, we are only an online e-commerce retailer and do not offer installation services. However, we have a list of contractors familiar with our products and their assembly, allowing us to share their information with future HIDEAWAY customers.
